What’s the reason for having a foundation course dedicated to RegTech?Facing an accelerated pace and growing complexity of regulatory reforms across the globe, institutions from the financial services industry are left with no other choice than looking at new ways to comply with these changes in a prompt and cost-efficient manner in order to sustain their businesses. In parallel, the recent advance of digital technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain among many others has offered a unique opportunity to address these regulatory compliance challenges, to the benefit of both financial institutions and regulators. Thus, through the development of innovative solutions and services, the emerging “Regulatory X Technology” movement, RegTech, aims at modernizing and transforming the traditional, resource-consuming approach of the Risk and Compliance function. RegTech innovation and adoption has accelerated recently, prompting us to create this course to share about the latest innovation trends, benefits and challenges in relation to RegTech.
